Happy New Year to Everyone

Always a happy day to see Hector in my favourite bookshops!

What a Christmas and New Year thrill to visit three of my favourite bookshops to see Hector on display.

Thanks to Readings in Carlton (I have been a loyal customer since I moved to Melbourne in the early 80s. Long may you continue to provide Melburnians with such a great range of words and music)

Avenue Books in Albert Park (spent far too much there since you opened)

I've also been busy talking to old and new friends on the Radio.

WIth Bruce Mansfield and Phil Brady at 3AW it felt like talking to old friends with their stories about Hector and their listeners responses.

Hard to believe that being interviewed at 4am could be fun but the wonderful Trevor Chappell even made it appear I was awake! Thank you Trevor and your listeners for some great Hector anecdotes.

Ewan Grant at 3BO in my old home town of Bendigo also gave me and the book a wonderful interview.

TV Legends Bob Phillips and Judy Banks on their Sugar and Spice program also made Hector their weekly focus and the interview contained many laughs.
