The Crawford Years - Studio 10
I spent a fun morning with the lovely team at Studio 10 talking about Hector, Dorothy and Crawford Productions. It was wonderful to have Paula Duncan, one of Hector's favourite TV Detectives on the panel and even Denise's turn in The Bluestone Boys made it on air! Thanks to everyone at Studio 10.

A Bolt from the Blue - HECTOR has been nominated for an International Award.
I was absolutely shocked and delighted to receive an email telling that HECTOR had been nominated for the 2016 Theatre Library Association Book Awards, presented annually to "recognize performing arts scholarship published during the previous calendar year that demonstrates exemplary use and interpretation of library and archival collections".
HECTOR has been nominated for the 2016 Richard Wall Memorial Award honoring books on film and broadcasting.
The winner is announced in New York in October this year.
What an amazing honour! It is such a thrill for me that Hector and Dorothy's story is attracting international attention.
Doug Aiton - One of Radio's true Gentlemen
The wonderful and generous Doug Aiton is now broadcasting on The Pulse in Geelong (94.7) in the Drive slot. It was lovely to spend some time talking on air with Doug about Hector and Dorothy. Thank you Doug. It is always a pleasure.

Thank you all so much for coming along and especially to Gerard Kennedy, Terry Donovan and Gary Fenton for their insights and humour talking about their time with Crawford Productions and their memories of Hector and Dorothy and especially to Ian Jones, one of the Crawford Inner circle who made the trip to join me. Thank you Ian.
